| Well,
I made it through this long and tedious day. As soon as I stepped out
of the apartment building, onto the sidewalk, a pigeon graced me from
above with a nice big wet green shit on my shoulder. Then, near the
subway, there was a HUGE injured crow or raven. I think it was
dying. Some mean kids were teasing it until I gave them the evil eye
and they left it. I watched until they were actually gone before I
left it, standing there helpless to help it.
Such a feeling of helplessness when you can't help the helpless....
This portends to the Elaine situation, I guess, or is an omen or
something...
I think the worst part is the waiting, or just not knowing... |
| Actually
got to sleep before 2AM. I slept well until the jackhammer started.
I had gotten up to make coffee and lay back down. I was holding the
cat and all of a sudden I thought, I better take a Paxil (it seems to
help me wake up somewhat). As soon as the thought entered my mind I
got really sick feeling and had to run to the bathroom.
I had the dry heaves and I do mean DRY and I do mean HEAVE. Interesting thing to have happen.
What is the point of the dry heaves? The cat ran and hid under the
bed as I sounded like some type of drain trying to unclog itself. |
This was prior the attack, around the same time now, 8:00 AM or later, then:
Newsflash: Something seems to have JUST hit the World Trade Center. Was it a plane? A Missle? A UFO?
Could have been a bomb going off on the inside. Are we under terrorist attack again?
Fresh news, Tuesday morning. Egg McMuffin with sausage. I'm glued
to the TV and its tragic, although extremely interesting and curious
minds want to know.
You saw it here first on Orlando News and the tv station just went
out! It must be the antaenna broadcasting from atop the WTC. I've
gotta find another station!!!
I hope we aren't under attack and if we are, and this is the last
thing I write.... well, goodbye cruel world, what else can I say?
000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
(in retro spect, having always been somewhat of an empath, I believe my dry heaves were in anticipation of the attack, as well as the omen of the injured crow or black bird in the post the day before)
( Since the STORYS on XANGA are written BACKWARDS, as is life, I posted this day in the order in which it appeared on the page so the initial post is at the bottom of this post)
| Everything
is down and closing. The Ave. is closed and from the roof of our
building we can see a huge pillow of black smoke covering the lower
part of the city.

Battleships are coming into the harbor. The Mayor says they're there to "make the people feel safe"...

Loud and SCARY military aircraft keep circling the building. This is scary, I've been shaking all day...

| Albert
and I are both fine. I could not get to work as the trains had stopped
running. Albert had gone to the gym in midtown (52nd St.) at 8AM so I
was worried. I got water and filled the bathtub then went for the
store and cell phone and bank. I ran into Albert coming home in the
crowd of thousands of people headed northward like scared sheep. The
first cash machine was down, the bank too about 45 minutes and I got
as much cash as I could. We hit the cellphone store but they are all
closed, cell phones aren't working anyway. Our phone was out all
morning...
At the store we got as much as we could carry. It was panic, there
were NO carts left and the line took over an hour. Albert's gym was
evacuated when the second tower went down. He is was about 4 or 5
miles uptwon from the WTC. WE live about 8 miles uptown. Police were
telling everyone to go home.

(press photos)
It's scary, but as of 1:07 PM we are safe at home. Some friends
who are stranded are on their way up here. I don't have to go to work
tonight either, I think, NYU has been closed too. The streets are
flooded with worried sweaty people and parents dragging their children
home as schools close.
We can see a huge famous mosque from our kitchen window, it's two
blocks from us so I guess we're okay, but someone on the street said a
cop told him that there is more terrorist activity in our area than
anywhere else in the city. "cab drivers" he said.
We can see huge billows of smoke from the rooftop....
okay, over and out... it's kind of exiting but scary too. I'm glad we don't live in a high-rise or near a landmark... |

| Holy
shit! NOW a SECOND plane has gone thru the other WTC building and I
saw it LIVE, on tv. I'm afraid to go to work now!!! I have to go down
into the subway and change trains at Grand Central Station and it seems
we are under some type of attack! Shit, I wish the mayor would tell
everyone to stay home.

| Seems
like a plane went into the WTC!!! I'm sure hundreds are dead. I've
been waiting for this to happen since they built the thing. This is
terrible!!!
I don't mean to make light of it, it's really serious. |

....................to continue, there is a calendar on the lower left you can go to the date, you need to work your way backwards to get to the beginning.... its always that way isn't, with life.... always a life must be read backwards.
