  • I Did Have A Dream Last Night

But I don't remember the details.
They faded like a wisp of smoke.

I'm so glad it is Thursday, I look forward to a weekend.
I am compelled to blog but have nothing specific to say again.

The featured question is so-so but as uninteresting as this.

I really need something to read.
I'm waiting for 'the devil's bones' by Jefferson Bass or 'duma key' by Stephen King to come out in paperback.   It will be a long wait.

    I feel mundane and uninterested.

I'm kind of getting tired of the rain now.
It's not the rain, it's those little drops that keep hitting you all over, cold and wet...

I don't like carrying an umbrella.  My hand goes numb holding it.

I'm so glad 'Dancing With The Stars' is over!  AA had to watch it religiously.  It is so obvious that Kristy Yamaguci would win.  You can go to YouTube and see her skating all the way back to the 80's and skate-dancing is what she is good at.

She feigned innocence all over 'Dancing With The Stars'  "oh, I've never danced before, it's so hard".....
bullshit,   she is a gold medal winning trained athlete from childhood it is so obvious she was going to win.

well the audience did have to call in and vote,  interactive television, you know...

I got a good evaluation at work yesterday.  This is always nice.

I look forward to watching LOST every week,  that's about it.

Something about this week is slightly off,  however bearable.

My knees hurt and I have a slight lump in my right side right under my ribcage...

I've felt like blogging every day.  Sat here blankly for an hour the past few days.   Sat here blankly for like twenty minutes today until I just let myself type this out.

    I don't know why.

I think I just need to vent,  or to engage in the act of venting,  and let some thoughts flow out of me as aimless and valueless as they may be.

Much like taking a shit, although hopefully not as repulsive.

  • LOL - thanks for inviting us to canoe in your stream of consciousness.

  • though you have dropped a couple that i thought stunk, at least i needn't worry bout stepping in your blog and tracking it on the carpet or digging it out of those little designs on the bottom of my shoe!  i have a million channels on my tv but often find it hard to locate anything worth watching.  have a great weekend!  peace, Al

  • i've learned to leave the room when the tv is playing stuff i dont care for. i used to feel guilty that i wasn't spending 'quality time' but i've come to realize that sitting around the telly when you're not enjoying the program is not quality time for them either. one lives and learns!

  • I hate carrying umbrellas too. I feel like you get anyway when you close it or get in the car...so why bother.

  • i always use a hoodie...fuck umbrellas

  • Foul weather gear is essential where I live. I have a rain poncho for when I don't need to climb ladders or scramble over fallen trees, and an industrial strength rainsuit for working in the rain. I use an umbrella only for mad impromptu dashes to the outhouse.

I did not find this repulsive. TV is repulsive, and much easier for me to take as verbal description than from the tube. Ours (TVs) are now nothing but monitors for game consoles and DVD player. They do not receive the common thoughtstream.
