Digital Cameras can see some of the spectrum that traditional film cameras cannot detect, and of course the naked eye cannot detect.
Of course hundreds of thousands of so called "orb" photographs are bugs, raindrops, dust particles, however, aside from these, there is physical evidence to suggest the photographs of many orbs are actually capturing something which is visible beyond the limitations of the human eye.
I purchased the book without much perusal, on a whim, having photographed a few of these orbs myself, and assumed it would go into the spiritual and ghostly side of the matter but I have been amazed to find that the first part (two authors), although somewhat out in the left field, is really all about quantum physics and the ideas presented are scientific in nature.
I did not know, for instance, that the digital camera is capable of capturing ultraviolet light, easily demonstrated by pointing your television remote control at your camera and looking at the view screen. All cameras are different at the amounts of the spectrum they can detect but they can detect more than the human eye.
There is also information on the physics of these orbs, the colors they emit (Fluorescence) or reflect, the ideas that they may be physical things unseen by the human eye, but captured by the camera. The first author suggest that rather than being spirits, if they are beings, are separate beings in themselves, some type of occupants of a parallel universe.
There are many examples of these orbs being captured by more than one camera, from different angles at the same time, orbs photographed in succession showing movement, and they are all individual with a unique fingerprint. They can be tracked.
Rather than moving, as floating through the air, as we think of things, this quantum physics guy suggests that they move through planes in succession and that they emit their own light and colors.
If you blow the orbs up and look at them close up they seem to have markings and some sort of structures. People have said they see faces in them but that may be too odd for me.
I'm at the middle of the book where the spirit guy is now telling his theory that they are spirits or beings.
Also, some people, people who tend to be sensitive, have a tendency to take more of them. I seem to have a few.
The thing with the physics, is that you can rule out bugs, dirt, reflections and stuff by these colorations and patterns. They can measure refraction and rule out 'backscatter', etc.
I have these three good orb photos that I took myself. They are currently being inspected by two people I sent them to. .
Just for the fun of it. I have ruled out dust, raindrops and insects with these three, as much as I can with no scientific instruments (banjo plucks out 'born on a mountain top in tennessee')I'll let ya know what the so called experts think.
I'm not usually one of those National Enquirer types, although I have had own share with the unexplaned and unfigured out enough to believe there is something else out there yet to be tapped into.

This orb did not convince me it wasn't a raindrop at first until I blew it up real big. No flash was used. There should be other raindrops though if it were raining. If it were a drop of water falling from the tree, it would seem it would not be moving sideways but down.
This orb was taken in the subway. I just snapped the trax, without a flash. It has an intricate structure and is quite multicolored if you blow it up really big.
This is my very best orb. was photographing the rocket ship on the building that didn't really come out. Here it is blown up below. No flash here either.
It strikes me now, after posting these, that of all of my unusual and otherworldly photos, these three are all of specifically nothing in particular. Each time I snapped and no central subject in mind, just basically background, which is also something I don't usually do, and of course I did not see the orbs with my eyes when I took the photos. All of the other photos taken during these times were normal.
I wish I understood the scientific part more, it's really complicated to me. Stuff about if these colors were from this spectrum then that spectrum would be indicated..... stuff like that, and wavelengths, oy vey, wavelengths up the yin yang.
I know nothing about visible light, but apparently evolution has given us just enough to get by but there's tons more out there. Animals know but aren't telling. You have to cut them up to find out.
Oh well.
.
.This orb clearly has a spherical shape and it is between me and a rope and you can see the rope through it. It's like a little burst of light.
Something about perhaps flash causing something else to fire, but no, there was no flash here, this one has light and color of its own, and the color seem to be in layers.
When I blew it up really big it looked just like the eye of god and go ahead and save it and blow it up yourself.
You know you want to.
According to the first scientist, even if they aren't 'alive' we are on the brink of discovering something we don't yet know about the physical world that is beyond our perception. Tracking them moving through a room and shooting the same one with different cameras from different angles is really spooky.
The part about the speed at which they must naturally travel making it seem as if their being captured by the camera is intentional is also giving me the willies.

Well, the pope says we can believe in aliens from other planets, and Mexico, Japan, Canada and I believe France says there ARE UFO's that we have studied and known about but have not disclosed to the public.
Will the enlightenment come in my lifetime?
I've been waiting?
So when am I gonna hear it?
.
I just wanna know stuff.
I think I'll try start dreaming again try to have another out of body experience too.
.
Am I the only one who thinks about stuff like this? Remember when you used to KNOW how many planets there were and animals like these were not an every day sight?
.
Why, I see these all over the place, don't you?
I'm sarcastic. What the FUCK is this? It appears to have an extremely large mouth with sucker lined lips.
When I say "doesn't it look sad?", It's a good thing I know I'm only projecting my inner interpretation of how I THINK IT LOOKS, and am able to remain objective.
I look HORRIFIED. This is know is TRUE.
I can't tell if it has tentacles. It has fins where the ears are. What if it only has one big tentacle, is it a unipus? Or just big orapus? I will call it a DUMBO fish because it does have a cute side.
Good god, I wonder if it has TEETH?!
Vagina Dentata UP THE YIN YANG!
I used to be able to name all of the animals.
.
.
Of course just becuause there are monsters in the ocean doesn't mean there are monsters in the sky or god forbid, in the same atmosphere but in a parallel universe.
Einstein thought there were.
...I've got to go eat my baked potato and precooked, breaded chicken cutlet.
