William Castle was a real showman.

This film was actually very good,  but very "psycho",  I noticed it right off the bat.  I had no idea as I hadn't seen the film and didn't know the story nor the ending.

I figured it out less than half way through but the person I was with didn't,  and it was done very well,  in fact  it was fairly amazing to me and I am surprised that this film is not more well known and more a part of the popular culture.

Perhaps the warning at the end of the movie; ,  "Do Not Tell Your Friends about the Ending of This Movie, or they will Kill You.  And if They Don't,  I Will!" ...so I am not going to reveal the very good ending.

Of course the movie is vintage 1961 and camp rules.

The audience was hysterical, it was hilarious!  I laughed out-loud a LOT more than in any modern movie recently, of course what everybody was laughing at was not intended to be laughed at way back in 1961 by my how times have have change.   Our history includes some very funny stuff!   No wonder everyone loves Joan Crawford, she must have been the total diva!

William Castle films were all gimmicky,  each one had a unique feature such as the buzzing seats in  The Tingler,  Emergo the skeleton that rides on a string above the audience,  a life insurance policy in case you 'die of fright'... money back if you leave before a certain point....

Now the retrospective tours the world and during the intermission between these two features at the beginning of this revival / retrospective,  the audience was treated to a talk by William Castle's Daughter who was in the audience and talked about meeting Joan Crawford and being on the set with her father.

She said he died feeling like he was not successful and she was thankful for all the fans for keeping his movies and spirit alive.   This was a truly important time in the history of cinema and although he was no Hitchcock,  he was master of showmanship... 

I am not sure how many films in all there are but they are all double features.  Not sure if I will see them all.  Several I have already seen, even on TV.  

One is The 13 Ghosts where you get special glasses to see the "ghosts"... I actually own that DVD because it scared me as a child so I bought it later to see again...  no special glasses with the DVD and not really scary but fun to watch,  possibly spooky on a lonely autumn night...

This film was surprisingly well done though.The second feature,  the Joan Crawford classic Straight Jacket was very good too.

Tonight is the Vincent Price House on Haunted Hill with Emergo, the skeleton but it is my BIRTHDAY and I'm not sure what I may do.  

I was out all night and had a very nice dinner with friends and then saw this double feature with another friend and then went out for drinks and got home at 3AMish and did not drink too much!

I'm thankful to be still alive, and in good health.   I feel like I am starting a second half and it looks exiting! .

I'm having a Birthday Vacation!  I have been enjoying my Staycation and have done a lot of things.

I saw Piranha in 3D and it was very FUNNY and FUN.. very campy.

I'm going to see the Double Feature at the Film Forum, Hysteria, and Straight Jacket with Joan Crawford,  there is a William Castle festival but I'm not sure if these two are part of that...

...no I'm not actually going with Joan Crawford, she be dead, I'm going with a friend to see it...

Meeting a friend who shares the birthday week for drinks in the village.

Yesterday a dear friend treated me to The Wax Museum in Time's Square and dinner at Sardi's and then out for a drink.

I have actually been on a "birthday vacation" for I won't say how long now but I still have a couple of weeks to go! Instead of taking a huge trip a buying something huge I did two wonderful things in my life and one of them was give myself the ability for this summer off!   It has been well worth it! 

I MAY go to the KING TUT Exhibit, and do a Circle Line Tour and some other stuff including more museums.  The ONE thing I HAVE NOT done is PARTY as in IMBIBING... I've been pretty much a light drinker and not made myself throw up or stay out late and have been getting a lot of rest and exercise..

.... and it has been great getting up really early and watching Patty Duke and morning show and coffee and puzzle and breakfast and out...

I've been very productive and have done a lot with my time,  taking care of many chores and also balancing it out with leisure and recreation.   I used the rainy days to the best of their advantage and took care of a TON of paper stuff...  The other big thing was a big thing but it is kind of personal so I am not going to broadcast it.  Actually I am about to do another big personal thing and perhaps a third but I'm going easy on myself.

I am going to go renting bicycles too....

I am certainly charged for the FALL and WINTER.   I need this time and leisure to re energize.  If I had traveled all this time, I would have expended more energy.

...and I'm getting a new mattress.. I think... I am afraid about this bed bug epidemic and if I buy a new mattress then what if I get bed bugs.... I've had the one I have now for so long will it hurt to wait until they eradicate the problem?   I don't actually NEED it now and I CAN wait so I'm not sure about that.

Anyway..

I gotta get bizzy!   As my good friend and BFF Cassi / Queenie says,  My life is half FULL! and I couldn't be more happier.

I only spent 1 day and one afternoon crying in bed (mind you that is only ONE DAY and ONE AFTERNOON CRYING in bed out of the whole summer)  

And,  I'd been reading all about the devil too so no wonder. 

I'm happy to be OLD.   I actually have quite outlived MYSELF and never expected to make it this far!

I remember sitcoms,  dramas and a ton of FUN television,  mindless entertainment that I saw as a child and when I see it as an adult I can really understand how television helped create an artificial view of the world for me.

I have been getting up early,  at 6:00 AM to watch The Patty Duke show,  Mr. Ed...   pure fluff.

The new Perfect Perfect Television,  actually on Pay Television which is another topic I won't speak about,  is on the sci-fi channel and it is a TV movie called SHARKTOPUS.

Someone has taken MY to personal TOP HORRORS OF THE OCEAN and combined them into one COOL BEAST.  A horrible killing machine that will certainly reinforce my JAWS induced terror of stepping a foot into the sea.

From the wonderful special effects,  the dippy girl-as-bait scenes and GROOVY SOUND TRACK,   Sharktopus is SURE to go down in history as a CULT FIGURE.

In fact,  I cannot wait to purchase a rubber Sharktopus Dolly.  I am sure they will have one soon.

 First, I must tell you that I have a history of dabbling in the occult.

 Yes, it is true,  I have always been DRAWN to the DARK SIDE.   NOW THEY ARE ON TO ME.

It all started before I was born.

My mother went to a fortune teller and she told her that she was going to bear another child,  a son,  and that she should not bear this child.    Mother laughed at the fortune teller because she thought she was too old to conceive.

Then she was pregnant and she had me.

As soon as I could speak I questioned God and religion.  My poor mother did not know how to respond to me at all so her tactic was to never stop talking until the day she died so she never had to respond to my incessant questioning.  Nothing I ever said was heard.

I began leaving my body at an early age,  predicting the future and practicing magic.   I studied the Manson Family murders intensely as a child and had always convinced myself I was a "Good" Witch.

I studied out of body travel and witchcraft throughout my childhood and learned to tell the future with Tarot cards.

I later,  when Ebay came into being,  started a huge collection of Tarot cards,  antique and fortune telling cards and devices from all over.  I have a TRUNK full of antique Tarot cards as well as several collectible,  artistic, and unusual decks. 

...I noticed it first the other night.  I'm sitting in the glow of my computer screen.   I have discovered that Andrew Crispo,  the powerful art dealer IS guilty of MURDER of a YOUNG HOMOSEXUAL man but because of his money ,connections and power, he has been able to commit crime and elude punishment and is a free man.

I noticed he has gone into hiding and is selling stuff on Ebay...

That is when I noticed the first BUG....

I felt something staring at me out of the darkness and I looked over and it was a huge ROACH.... I turn on the light and see movement,   they are all over, out here in the den , not in the kitchen....

All of a sudden I see movement in my TAROT CARD CHEST which has not been opened for like 3 years.

I look in the crack in chest and down into it and what do I see!  AHA,  the NEST!

I have found the ROACH NEST it is in my CHEST OF TAROT CARDS.

I see several scurry away when I turn on the light.

I RUN FOR THE WINDEX.

I have been using Windex on these bastards and thoroughly enjoying the kill,  this is what makes me think I am evil and some force is using me to commit RITUALISTIC MURDER of these ROACHES.

The Windex is fun because the crazy things,  as soon as you hit them, they go mad and start running around,  then  you spray the Windex in front of them and the stupid things run right into it.  It doesn't take much Windex to kill them,  surprisingly. 

I toyed with rubbing alcohol.  I loved to drip rubbing alcohol on them.  They don't like it and go crazy. 

I never smashed them,  I don't want their microbes and nano-vermin around my apartment...

I got sticky traps and watched day after day as more stupid roaches joined their buddies in the death trap of glue.

I got roach motels and have been putting the poison baits in the kitchen and bathroom every three months but apparently these dudes are nesting in my Tarot Card chest and I have not even had the guts to open it.

I found some really good POISON,  that ROACH CAULK,  you put it around and about 3 or 4 days later the bugs go CRAZY and start wandering around in the daylight like they are in a daze,  then they are really easy to spray.  A few days after that and they are all over the floor,  on their backs with legs either twitching or folded,  obviously nerve toxin...

I poisoned them over and over ,  I caulked all around the Tarot Chest.... I was gonna start selling these cards on Ebay....  I see tons of roach EGGS in there so I poisoned again and it has been a week and the only thing I see are dead roaches on the floor,  no more activity and no more babies,  so soon I will get the nerve to open the Tarot Chest and dig around in the corner here,  near my file cabinet and see what kind of nests are around... Hopefully they will all be dead.

Am I evil for enjoying killing and making a sport out of it?  I don't kill other bugs.  I don't kill spiders.  I put them outside.  I kill mosquitoes.

Then , I found another BUG,  so I KNOW THEY ARE ON TO ME:

Then I see,  like a cute micro basket of fairy eggs,  these in the Parsley plant and I instantly realize that these are not seeds,  these are feces.

I'm certain these parsley packed pellets are packed full of nutrition but I will not eat them.

They are the concentrated parsley pellets that have gone through the processing by this machine:

I was going to get some Parsley out of my garden to make mashed potatoes and I found them feasting.  I counted 7.   This is Manhattan,  I thought the herbs would be safe.

I didn't have the heart destroy or harm these bugs, or even take the parsley away from them as they are not evil bugs.  They are the larvae of  The (Eastern) Black Swallowtail,  and they ate ALL my parsley.  

I am afraid that the birds have eaten them all, but hopefully some have gone into chrysalis form,  I'll find them when the fall and winter comes and all the leaves go,  if they are there...

These need to "winter over" in chrysalis form to emerge as beautiful butterflies in the spring  but I don't think any survived the birds...  I saw some green squashed splat on the wall near the parsley which looks exactly like one got picked off and the others are missing... Time will tell,  nature will take its course.

Anyhow....  so much for the bugs.    When I get the nerve to open the Tarot Chest,  I may take gross photographs of what I find in there.  I am cycling through several poisonings before I open it though I want to make sure I kill everything that hasn't hatched yet...

In the scheme of current subway pricing,  I pay $89 dollars for unlimited rides for one person per month.

You can buy cards in various denominations,  in the typical,  the more you can afford,  the less you have to pay upside down pyramid scheme where single rides are at $2.25 a day,   totaling $90 dollars per month if you do nothing but go to work and back.

The MTA is considering raising the fare for the "unlimited monthly pass" and removing the "unlimited" part to 90 trips per month for $99.

The single fares will go up.

Some people can afford like $20.00 at a time and the card gives you the appropriate amount of rides (at $2.25 each) plus $3.00 in credit ( one ride plus .75 cents ).   These cards you keep refilling with however much you can afford...

It is a big scam.  I am going to refrain from buying a monthly pass if this happens.  I will prefer to take a Taxi and walk rather than to continue to bend to this big scam against the people of New York City.

The people who need it most,  people who make several trips because they go to school,  have children,  work more than one job,  are messengers by trade,  need to visit medical appointments or simply stop off on the way from work to take care of a chore are getting nickled and dimed to DEATH.

Jay Walder makes $300,000 per year. This system is always broke, ( financially AND LITERALLY ), dirty,  laying off workers,  removing the station booths...  losing money and finding it again... and constantly raising fares.

Jay Walder attends public meetings where his SECURITY STAFF out numbers the public attending.

The cost for HIS SECURITY ALONE must reach close to one million dollars a year,  research it and let me know...

Meanwhile,  he DOES NOT USE THE SUBWAY.

I Just finished reading The Ultimate Evil by Maury Terry,  500 pages,  ( now out of print ) on a global group of elite who use druggies and Satanists as well as all type of criminals and crazies who commit murder and rape and all types of crime to fuel the needs of a select few of global elitists who have the power to do as they wish. 

It's been like a month or so because everything I have read I have also intensely researched by looking at newspaper archives and watching documentaries and witness testimony and court cases...  This has been my
entertainment/obsession  and of course blogs of people who lived around these times and places ....

..and weeding out shit from actual reliable "Primary Sources"....

This book is the most horrifying thing I have ever read and has changed my perspective about "Good and Evil" forever.

There is an elite and SMALL,  comparatively to the OTHER BRANCHES OF CRIME, group of criminals who  believe in and worship Satan as a God,  and that is God, with at capitol "G".

Secondly,  pornography,  child porn,  the drug trade (and I'm not talking about marijuana,  I am talking about opiates AND COMMERCIALLY PRODUCED DRUGS)

...and other types of PROFITABLE ENDEAVORS are used to FUND these groups, naturally.

The MINIONS used to carry out CRIMES are at every LEVEL of society,  from the Charles Mansons to the BERNARD MADOFF types on Wall Street, to the RICHARD NIXON and QUEEN ELIZABETHs

It is my conviction at this point,   anyone who is or was a superstar,  and continues to be produced and supported into the industry,  and has reached the "billion dollar" club level... are keeping a horrible secret.

Some are good and some are bad.   Good,   but keeping a secret.  

I believe that a large number of these people,  especially ROCK STARS and POLITICIANS and people who are specifically hungry for FAME AND MONEY....   have black-mailable things in their pasts that can be used against them.   That or they pay someone.   Or they are part of something or know something...  or are dead...

I believe that several noted people who have died "before their time" in history,   like the Janis Joplins,  the JFK's,   the Sal Mineos... The Brian Jonses....  The "MYSTERIOUS" "first" or "fifth" Beatle which I haven't even bothered to look into...

I'm not saying everyone was murdered, but it is possible.  Certainly the type of drugs these people   used are killers to begin with.

History is literally scattered with hundreds of these horrors which seems to lead to directly to the eyeball hovering above the pyramid ( separate from the rest of the pyramid ) on the back of the dollar bill.    In other words.  I think that certain people know certain things that the rest of us have know awareness of.

This book and research will give you an inkling and may overwhelm you with darkness,  if you tend to have that bend and really believe that "THE DEVIL" exists outside in the world,  (AND NOT INSIDE OF YOU) and can INVADE YOUR SPACE.

This  FEAR has been STRONGLY CULTIVATED.

The SUPERNATURAL has been touted as something to FEAR in either the good way OR the bad way.

Imagine a world where anything beyond the physical did not exist.
It would be a jungle,  and we would be left to our own devices...

How it has been set up  to avoid this is not specifically the best way,  in my opinion.

If you want to have EYES WIDE SHUT understanding,  then this is the investigation for you.  

It obsessed me and I feel I have been living with LUCIFER (actually THE GOD OF EARTH AND BRINGER OF LIGHT HISTORICALLY, BEFORE CHRISTIANITY ANYHOW..)

I and I certainly feel I have taken a bite of the proverbial APPLE from the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE for the first time in MY life...  

I have been of the mind that the story about good vs. evil is a myth.   I still believe that. 

We are trained to believe that "good" and "evil" are qualities that exist outside of us,   somewhere in nature, thus the spiritual/religious world.

I am prone to believe that the nature of good and evil does NOT exist outside of the human body.

When I was younger I believed in "spirits" and things.

I now believe that a lot of this is done with the human mind.     I do believe in quantum mechanics and quantum physics which means I believe in forces that I cannot see and physical properties that I cannot understand and defy human (current) logic or explanation...

Yet I fail to believe that it has a name and face so easily recognizable...

However,  there is the possibility that this "force" or this "entity" or web or EVILNESS can be enacted by GROUPS of people....

I am beginning to wonder if SATAN really DOES exist in MORE THAN ONE PERSON and one of those people alive and running the CITY OF MANHATTAN IS....

... stay tuned tomorrow, same place...  ( and if I am murdered overnight, die strangely or are killed in freak accident, or "commit suicide"  well...  it would mean they got me,  supposedly the some feds and law enforcement, judges and politicians are members of this evil web... ( I promise not to commit suicide overnight of my own free will,  in case I do end up dead, not even to emphasize the point of an evil conspiracy   )

I had a funny thing to say about "living with Satan" involving someone I just saw on the news,  but I ruined it by summarizing the most believable and plausible "conspiracy" of them all,  and the only one with a 2000 year old history of DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE.

Also,  I went to see Inception  and the movie,  about dreams,  is certainly a SLEEP INDUCER... BOOORING... save your 13 bux! 

 ...do the people who write the script actually expect the audience just to instantly accept the fact that it is a move and automatically just "believe" anything the character says?   I couldn't.  This movie was totally stupid.
